Elsa Baldaia is a New York based model,  born in Angola, Africa. She is a Portuguese national with Angolan, Portuguese & Namibian ethnicity. In 2011, she was a finalist in the International Elite Model Look Contest and won. This encouraged her more and she participated in the Elite Model Look International Contest in Shanghai, China. She was in the top 15 finalists.

He favorite thing about modeling is that she gets to travel to different places for work. During her modeling career, she has traveled to various places including Germany, China, Paris, Spain, US, and South Africa.

During her career, she has represented many designers and worked with many brands, magazines, and photographers. Still, she has a long way to go. 
In 2018, she walked the runway for Fall/ Winter 18 Shows for Pamella Roland, Custo Barcelona, Bibhu Mohapatra, Vivienne Tam, Tibi, and Rosie Assoulin. In the Spring/ Summer 2018, she appeared in the Levi’s Accessories Campaign.

In August 2018, Elsa was featured in an editorial for Paper Magazine. For this project, she worked with Stefano Ortega. This editorial was named Missed Moment.
In 2019, she walked the Fall/ Winter 19 Show for Ozwald Boateng, Sherri Hill, and Veronica Beard. Later, she walked for John Richmond Spring/ Summer 20 Men’s Show.

The best place she visited was Paris. She lived in the city for 3 months and it was an unforgettable trip. Though she couldn’t speak French, she did not lose hope. When it was her first day, she went to the agency and all she said was “yes”.
At first, she didn’t believe herself as she was alone in a new city. This was not easy for her, but it was a rewarding experience. She was rejected plenty of times, yet, she remained strong. Recently, she is living in New York.
