Born on 7th August 1994 in St. Petersburg, Russia, Ania Chiz may as well be the Russian Federation’s next top model. Besides being a model, Ania enjoys travelling and talking about the world of fashion. Currenly, she resides in Paris. Being the daughter of an Italian father and a Russian mother, she holds dual citizenship - Russian and Italian and considers herself an Italian at heart and believes Paris is her loving home.
There has been no stopping Ania Chiz since her debut at Milan at a very young age. There is nothing she loves more than her job where she not only gets to flaunt her 89cm hips, 81cm waist and 57cm bust, but also considers it a gateway to fulfilling all her other desires such as travelling, as well. She has quickly become a runway favorite and has modeled for prominent figures such as Nina Ricci, Harper’s BAZAAR, Hugo BOSS (BOSS).
Ania Chiz is popular in lookbooks and runway alike. Recently she was the model for Etro’s Pre-Fall 2019 lookbook and catalogue and Margaret Howell’s Winter 2018 catalogue. Ania Chiz has also been in an incredible amount of editorial work, including Harper’s Bazaar Germany in November 2018, Numero Tokyo, American Vogue, and Elle US just over the span of a few months. Previously, she also modeled for Heroine and W in 2017, Amica Italy in May 2011, Lake Magazine Summer 2011, InStyle UK March 2012, Marie Claire France 2013, and many others.
Ania Chiz has also graced the runway with shows for Dolce & Gabbana, Etro, Les Copains, Alberta Ferretti, Nina Ricci, Azzedine Alaïa, Alexis Mabille and Ulyana Sergeenko Haute Couture, Prada, Christian Dior, Chanel, and Oliver Theyskens, just to name a few. For this model, the creative freedom, exciting attention to detail, and magic of fashion are all what keep her in love with modeling and even the city of Paris. Her job includes a ‘game’ that never ends with the camera, which comes through in her playful and captivating modeling photos.
Ania Chiz enjoys having a laugh with her photographers during shoots, especially those with animals, and wishes the fashion industry would be more just with “cancelling” models for little to no reasons. She likes doing her own thing doing photo shoots with encouraging and liberating people behind the camera, as that is time when she feels her best. Her favorite thing about being a model is when she gets to shoot with her friends as a group. She identifies as a workaholic, as she works even on holidays such as Easter and Christmas. In her free time, she likes to visit museums and parks.
