Chantal Kammermann was scouted in Switzerland after dominating the catwalk in a friend's fashion show in Lucerne at age 16. After several follow-up shows in Zurich, her career began to take off. Her father is Swiss while her mother is from Guinea, West Africa.
While traveling for work, Chantal emphasizes the importance of having adventures, meeting people and learning about different perspectives of life, as well as quality relaxation time in nature. She spent two months in Costa Rica, India, and Guinea over the past three years, leading to a wide range of incredible experiences. Meanwhile, she loves to work with her hands, creating macramé wall hangings from natural materials For Chantal Kammermann holistic health has been a focus parallel to modeling, as she works daily on her meditation and herbalist practices. Recently, she became certified in herbalism, Reiki and Pranayama breath work. Chantal explains that this holistic education led to an empathic passion for humanitarian work, which seeks to raise awareness on worldwide issues.
As a model, Chantal Kammermann is proud of her Carols Daughter campaign, several runway shows for the iconic Giorgio Armani, in addition to a wide web of catalogue shoots and runway appearances. She is especially inspired by the idea of entering into a new persona with every new modeling job.
