Born in 1989, Flavia Lucini is originally from Brazil. One of the more incredible model-discovery stories, she was discovered by a scout when she was driving a tractor in her remote agrarian Brazilian village. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to Sao Paolo and her career took off. At just 16, she walked for Jil Sander at Milan’s fashion week. Just a year later, in 2007, she broke the world record for the highest number of catwalk shows in the same season at the Sao Paulo Fashion week.
Her editorial work is also impressive, with features in Maxim, Elle (Brazil, Malaysia, and Mexico), Glamour (Brazil and Germany), Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, and Vogue (Brazil, Russia, Turkey). Her record-breaking runway features include work for brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Versace, Oscar de la Renta, and Ralph Lauren.
