Nikita Paauwe is a Dutch fashion and runway model and a mother of two. She started her modeling career when she was 17 years old. When she was scouted, she did small modeling jobs while focusing on her studies. She has been modeling for 10 years and is still working with breaks during her pregnancies.She is represented by several modeling agencies that provided her excellent modeling opportunities. Nikita has worked with various photographers and all of them were good. Selecting one photographer is difficult for her. She has worked with many fashion houses and magazines. In 2014, she was photographed by Ivo for a photoshoot. In 2016, she did a campaign for Jacques Britt Spring/Summer 2016. For this project, she worked with photographer Michael Gueth. What she likes most about the modeling career is that she gets to travel a lot. She loves wearing new clothes, putting on makeup; all this makes her feel beautiful and great about herself. Most importantly, it makes her feel like a woman, not a mother. Moreover, she met a lot of interesting people from different countries; it is one of the perks of being a model. Her dream job was shooting a worldwide NIVEA TVC with her youngest daughter. What makes it special is that she got to work with the love of her life. With the help of her mother agency, she has been able to make a name for herself and thanks for them she has never had a problem managing everything. Apart from the agency, she couldn’t work after being a mother without the support of her parents-in-law and husband. She feels very lucky to do modelling while caring for two children. Maintaining a balance gets challenging sometimes; there are weeks when she is hardly home and weeks when she is stay at home mom. Becoming a mother made her more confident. When it comes to getting into shape, she goes to the gym four times a week, apart from which she does horse riding. One of her dreams is to do husky sledding and go watch the Northern Light in Lapland.
