Rumors abound.
Whether Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had envisioned actually representing the British royal family as duchess and duke full-time when they married in 2018, we will probably never know. But after the couple retired from their royal duties in January 2020 and moved to Markle's birthplace Los Angeles, a bit of everything has happened on the career front.
The famous couple spoke about all of it during an interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year, perhaps as a way to wipe the slate clean and start over.
The couple has at least managed to land a Netflix agreement and a contract for a podcast with Spotify. Meghan Markle has also made her debut as a children's book author.
In the last week, rumors have also been circulating that Meghan Markle will now become a beauty entrepreneur.
The former actor is supposed to have a beauty brand underway, according to Grazia.
Several international media have questioned whether this is true.

However, the Duchess has the benefit of confirming or disproving the rumors.
Over the past year, both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been seen visiting Bill Guthy's ranch in Santa Barbara. Bill Guthy is a co-founder of Guthy-Renker, a California-based PR firm that is behind some of the biggest celebrity beauty brands in the world.
The backer is behind Jennifer Lopez's JLo Beauty and Cindy Crawford's skin care line Meaningful Beauty.
Despite the fact that Elle was already wondering if Meghan Markle would soon become a beauty entrepreneur back in July, it now seems that some news is just around the corner, given the large media coverage.
The Duchess and her beauty look are very popular, to say the least. She has become known for her smokey eyes look with eyeliner and nude lips - and the make-up she chose for her wedding day in 2018 will go down in the history books.
There are actually as many as 88.5 million articles about Meghan Markle and her beauty habits, according to Elle.
She is therefore the celebrity, royal or not, who is written about the most when it comes to beauty.
