Merethe Hopland is a Norwegian model. Growing up in Bergen, Norway, she began her modeling career at age 18 by applying and being accepted to modeling agencies. The modeling star debuted at the runway shows for Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani in Milan during Fall of 2010, followed by an exclusive walk for Calvin Klein, presenting their February 2011 show in New York. Merethe Hopland also walked for Missoni, Salvatore Ferragamo, MaxMara, Costume National, and Chanel in both Paris and Milan.
Merethe Hopland has also modeled in many ad campaigns, including L’Oreal advertorial, plus editorials in Fault Magazine, Genlux, Chaos Mag, L’Officiel Paris, French Revue de Modes, Nowness, V Man, Harper’s Bazaar UK and Germany, Vogue, and Russian Vogue. She is under exclusive contract as the face of Chanel Beauty since the end of 2012. Her favorite aspects of modeling include the ability to act in a certain mannerism, adding creativity to the mix of colors and fabrics that fashion is all about.
