Rodrigo Calazans is a model from Brazil, born in 1985. He was raised in Rio de Janeiro and was a Brazilian soccer player before starting his modeling career.
In 2007, he made his debut in modeling by appearing on an online magazine Terra’s The Boy. Soon, he became famous and he decided to become a full-time model. He has signed up with several modeling agencies. In September 2007, he did a cover for Vogue Italia and was photographed by Steven Meisel.
In 2010, he did an editorial for Interview magazine. The title of the editorial was The History of Man. For this project, he worked with Robbie Fimmano. For Fall/Winter, he did many advertising campaigns for Pull & Bear. In November 2010, he appeared in the Book: Uomini for Dolce & Gabbana.
In the next year, he was featured on the cover of Stern magazine and was photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath. He also did an editorial for the magazine, titled Heiss-Zeit. With the same photographer, he appeared on Numero Homme. The editorial was called Posto 7 Ipanema. Rodrigo was also seen in an editorial for BL33N, named Rio Monsters.
In May, the model did another editorial for Glamour Germany, called Preppy Mode. For this editorial, he partnered up with Matthias Vriens-McGrath. Later in October, he did an editorial for GQ Germany, known as Es Geht Voran. For it, he worked with Giampaolo Sgura.
He loves to travel to different countries. He loves to play beach soccer and football along with surfing. Costa Rica, remote locations of the southern coast of Africa, and Nicaragua are some of the places where Rodrigo would love to go. In November and December, he did editorials for Made in Brazil Magazine.
In 2012, he appeared in an editorial for Essential Homme, titled It’s A Burberry Burberry World. The editorial was photographed by A.P. Kim. For the Spring/Summer Collection of GANT, he did an advertising campaign. Later in September, he walked the ramp for Michael Bastian Spring/Summer 13 Show. In November, he featured in an editorial for Flaunt, it was called Cue the Shins, Sound the Trumpets.
Next year, he was selected for an advertising campaign for Faconnable Denim Spring/Summer 13. For the magazine Made in Brazil, Rodrigo did an editorial, photographed by Greg Vaughan. He worked again with Made in Brazil magazine. The photographer was Cristiano Madureira. This model did another advertising campaign for the Fall/Winter 2013 collection of Perry Ellis.
In 2015, the model graced the lookbook of Michael Kors Spring 2015. In February, he did an advertising campaign for Riachuelo Winter and worked with Nicole Heiniger. Later in September, he worked on another advertising campaign for Summer 2016. For this campaign, Paulo Vainer was the photographer.
In 2017, the model feature in an editorial for Victor Magazine. It was photographed by Jeff Segenreich. In 2019, he appeared on the lookbook of Gustavo Moscoso Spring/Summer 2019.
