Giedre Seks was born in Lithuania in June 1995, an emerging fashion model living New York. It has not been long since she has started modeling, so it is just the beginning of her career, but she has worked with many fashion photographers. So far, it has been an amazing experience for her. She was in Vilnius University studying microbiology and biotechnology when she realized that studying was not enough; she wanted to more than just study. Giedre had been in the university for two and a half years before she joined the modeling profession.
It was her friend who convinced her to become a model. Giedre was not so confident that she can be a model, but her friend was consistent that she should give it a try. She asked her to participate in the competition and go to the casting. The first agency she went to rejected her by saying that needed to be fit in order to become a model. Otherwise, she will just be a girl with a pretty face. She went to another modeling agency that had casting with different agencies around the world.
They cast her and her first trip as a model was to Milan for a show. When it comes to photo shoots, her first photo shoot was in France. After that, she has worked with various photographer including Frauke Fischer, Daniyel Lowden, Raul Ruz, and David Dunan.
She looks forward to accepting all the opportunities she is offered, and she is open to all types of clients. Giedre Seks even modeled for different magazines like Nou Magazine, Vogue Italia, IO Donna, and Jolie.
Giedre is grateful to her friend for encouraging her to be a model. She loves living in New York as there are unlimited opportunities for everyone. She loves traveling and meeting new and interesting people. The only thing she is afraid of is her downfall. Though it is extremely hard for everyone, she thinks she will handle it well.
Everything is going so fast for her and it is a bit confusing for her as she is being offered big opportunities. Her commitment to work, extraordinary style, and energy are the reason she is getting popular in the very beginning of her career. The feedback she gets from people is what inspires her to keep going and do better.
As a person, she is fun and calm. She likes to meet people with unique and strong personality. If she was not in a modeling career, then she would have been doing work and travel projects.
Now, she has decided to take a gap year to pursue her modeling career. Thanks to her agency, she has US visa; according to her, this is an excellent opportunity that she should not give up. She is thinking of returning to her studies and completing her diploma after a one-year gap.
