Alecia Morais is a top model from Cape Verde born in 1997. This young model has walked the runway for Louis Vuitton and Dries van Noten. Since her debut, she has signed up with plenty of modeling agencies. This helped her get jobs with numerous brands, designers, and magazines.
From a young age, modeling had her heart. She used to read magazines and dreamt of being in the magazines one day. Alecia believes interest and hobbies other than modeling is essential to living a serene and balanced life.
She is a proficient model who is capable of speaking different languages including English and Portuguese. She participated and won the Elite Model Look Cape Verde 2012. She was among the Top 15 finalist at the World Finals. She wanted to work in the Capital of fashion, Paris. This was the reason why she gave her best in the World Finals.
Some of her interests include dancing, hanging out with friends, and working out in her free time. Apart from modeling, medicine is something she is passionate about. In 2013, she appeared on the runway for Spring/ Summer shows for Christian Wijnants, Ground Zero, Moncler, Vivienne Westwood, Dries van Noten, and Louis Vuitton. In 2014, Alecia walked the Fall/ Winter shows for Agnes B. For Spring shows, she walked for Hunter Original, Daks, Nicholas K, Fay, Michael van der Ham, Whistles, Amanda Wakeley, and Byblos.
The next year, she appeared on the Spring Couture show for La Perla. In the Fall presentation, she walked the runway for Clover Canyon. In Fall shows, she walked for TOME, Suno, Lela Rose, Jonathan Simkhai, Blugirl, Noon by Noor, Vivienne Westwood, Mila Schon, Kate Spade, Thom Browne, Martin Grant, Nanette Lepore, Badgley Mischka, Maison Rabih Kayrouz, Milly, Olympia Le-Tan, Alexandra Moura, Kristina Ti, Gabriele Colangelo, Au Jour Le Jour, Elisabetta Franchi, Tom Ford, and Calvin Klein.
Moreover, Alecia Morais appeared on the cover of the Portuguese Soul and did an editorial for the magazine as well. She also appeared in an editorial for the Seventeen Magazine. When it comes to the Spring Shows, she walked for Ohne Titel, Dion Lee, Suno, Hogan, Cividini, Roksanda Jilncic, Temperley, Tommy Hilfiger, Antonio Berardi, Dolce & Gabbana, Jonathan Simkhai, Rodarte, Pringle of Scotland, Margaret Howell, Tibi, Issa, Gareth Pugh, 3.1 Philip Lim, and Tadashi Shoji.
In January 2019, she did an editorial for S Moda for El Pais and was lensed by Jack Waterlot. She also appeared in advertising campaigns for Aisling Camps Spring 2019. For this project, she worked with Michael Schwartz. In February, she modeled for Maxima cover and worked with Rui Aguiar. In addition, she did various editorials for Maxima. Later, she walked the runway for Fall/ Winter 19 shows for Jonathan Cohen, John John, Rosa Cha, Cushnie, Pamella Roland, and Rosa Cha.
