Ella Kandyba Ukrainian Woman in Vogue: Еlla Kandyba
Vogue UA magazine, with the support of Symbol, has published a book Ukrainian Women in Vogue. It is dedicated to Ukrainian heroines who have appeared on the pages of our magazine. Models and artists, writers and athletes, musicians and designers, ballerinas and founders of charitable foundations. Each of them is a strong personality who has her own style, inspires by her own example and represents Ukraine with dignity in the international arena. In special interviews for vogue.ua, the heroines discuss the balance between career and family, publicity, and their understanding of happiness. This time, read the interview with Ella Kandyba.

- Do you think balancing your career and personal life is harder today than it used to be, or is it easy to manage everything nowadays?

I believe that if you want to succeed in something, you need to devote yourself to it. I decided not to complicate my life, so at first I achieved everything I dreamed of in my work, and now I am absolutely happy in my personal life.

- Does the requirement to be the best in everything that society puts forward to a modern woman prevent you from living your own life or, on the contrary, encourage you to strive for new successes?

I am the only one who can demand and decide something in my life! You should always strive to be the best version of yourself!

- How do you deal with publicity?

Life has given me this wonderful experience and I accept it with gratitude. It's not difficult. It is a kind of work, and I like it.

- How do you find time for yourself and what do you devote it to?

It's definitely traveling! I am inspired by visiting new places, exploring them, living moments in another culture. For me, this is the best reboot!

What does your happiness consist of and is there anything missing for it?

Happiness has no components! It all depends on the person: either you are happy no matter what, or you haven't come to it yet. I am happy and I know that there are still many wonderful things ahead.

- With which of the women - contemporaries or historical characters - would you like to talk sincerely and frankly? And what would this conversation be about?

With Princess Diana!
