Used Ganni garments sell for millions online - but Ganni itself earns nothing.
At a time when second-hand purchases are only becoming more and more attractive, Ganni is one of the most popular brands on resale platforms such as Vestiaire Collective and Trendsale. According to the Danish Fashion Forum, hundreds of Ganni ads are created daily on Trendsale alone. Also at Norwegian Tise and Finn.no there is no shortage of Ganni clothes for sale.
Now Ganni wants to make sure that they also make money from this million-dollar industry.
Nicolaj Reffstrup can tell you that we have a bit of everything in store:
- We will offer our community several different opportunities to approach us, through ownership, rental and sale of Ganni clothes. We must do this in a way that is so fluid that consumers do not even notice that they have made the responsible choice. And then we will make sure that we make money from it, so that we can scale the initiative and create a lasting change in the way we consume fashion.
