Mieke Visser is a South African fashion and runway model. She has been modeling from a very young age and with her effort and dedication, she has established herself as a notable model in the fashion industry. An agent scouted her when she was 15 years old when she was watching Phantom of the Opera with her mother and friend at the Art Scape.

Though her mother didn’t allow it at first, she was able to convince her. That is how she started her modeling career. What she loves most about being a model is traveling around the world. However, she doesn’t like early call times because she loves to sleep.
Mieke Visser has been working with many modeling agencies. In May 2018, she did was featured on the cover of Elle South Africa. In the same month, Mieke did a photo shoot for Women’s Health South Africa.
Later in July, she appeared on the cover of AMICA Magazine. In August, she worked for Superior Magazine. In November, she worked with a good photographer Sarah Brown. She even modeled for Boss. In addition, she appeared in the Lativa Magazine and was photographed by Benjamin Schwartz.
When it comes to relaxing or spare time, she spends time with her friends or goes shopping. For staying in shape, she goes running and does yoga. She loves running because it helps her clear her mind while yoga helps her relax and makes her muscles flexible. She believes in having a balanced diet; it includes eating fresh and healthy meal 4 to 5 times a day. Her diet includes dark chocolate and sweets as well.
As far as her style is concerned, it depends on her mood. If she feels like girly, she dresses the part. Her go-to outfit is black skinny jeans, a leather jacket, and white sneakers. She loves wearing black jeans, especially to castings.
One of her best projects was when she did an editorial for Elle Magazine. Back then, she was just 17 years old. She believes that if you cannot love yourself, then no one else would. So, for her self-love is crucial. Moreover, she also advises other models to stay true to yourself.
In the fashion industry, she looks up to Adriana Lima, the reason being that she has kids and everything else. Despite being in the 30s, Adriana looks very young and manages her work life and personal life extremely well. Her other fashion icon is Coco Chanel  who was an independent woman who believed in herself and others as well.
She wants the fashion industry in South Africa to combine and overcome division. She wants the fashion industry to be united irrespective of culture and religion. Apart from this, she even has a YouTube channel in which she shows the life of model and shares her day with her fans.  Mieke Visser is an astonishing model from Cape Town who  can reach new heights of success with her hard work.
