Eman Deng is a South Sudanese model born in the larger Sudan in 2001 but currently based in London, UK. The fashion model was scouted by one of the popular modeling agencies in Uganda via Instagram. The scouting gave her a chance to do her debut competition for Ms. March 2018 and her first gig at the Kampala Fashion Week 2018. These performances subtly prepared her for bigger events like winning the Miss South Sudan Contest in April 2019.
After relocating from Uganda to London in 2019, Eman was signed by several modeling agencies, catalyzing her chances of getting runway, editorial, and advertising deals. Her first SuperDry Campaign came almost immediately after the relocation, and she had the chance of working with Hero Fiennes Tiffin and later, Justin Campbell. Besides, she has walked for Thom Browne and Rick Owens and worked with Halpern, Simone Rocha, Balenciaga, Dior, Michael Kors, Saint Laurent, Chopova Lowena, Lock $ Core Hatters, Miu Miu, Versace, Prada and Chalayan. She also appeared on the cover of Vogue Arabia in April 2020.
Eman Deng loves traveling and meeting new people. She has a hope of one day opening a model agency to tap and nurture young modeling talents in South Sudan, her home country.
