The daughter of Heidi Klum opens the fashion week in Berlin
Leni Klum follows in her mother's footsteps.

Last month, supermodel Heidi Klum and her daughter Leni appeared on the cover of German Vogue. That was the start of the 16-year-old's modeling career.

Now she is making her debut during the German fashion week.

Leni Klum opened the fashion week in Berlin in a corona-friendly video presentation in costumes from some of Germany's top designers.

The 16-year-old was styled by editor-in-chief of German Vogue Christiane Arp, and wore outfits from Steinrohner, Michael Sontag, Kaviar Gauche and Lala Berlin, among others.

Heidi Klum has previously commented on her daughter's desire to work as a model, writes Page Six.

- “She's old enough now. I're always thought she's too young. We also chose to keep the children protected from the public. But she's driving now, she's 16, so I thought if you can do that, you can also be a model if that's what you want,” she told People.

- “As a mother, I of course want my child to do what she wants. The industry is super. I love it, and have been in it for over 20 years. But there is a lot of travel, it is different. You have to be strong, especially as a woman.”

The 47-year-old shows her support for his daughter by sharing photos of her to her 7.8 million Instagram followers. Most recently from Leni's shoot for Hunger Magazine.
