Nadine Leopold: Insights into Modeling, Creativity, and Life in Quarantine

Austrian model Nadine Leopold has been immersed in the world of modeling for over a decade, starting her career at the young age of 14. As a professional model, she has worked with various model agencies, gaining insight into the competitive and creative aspects of the fashion industry. During the quarantine, Nadine isolated herself in London with her boyfriend and two dogs, finding comfort and inspiration in her close circle and furry companions.

To keep busy, she dedicated time to her podcast, I Choose Me, reflecting her passion for storytelling and personal growth—an example of how models today explore diverse creative outlets beyond traditional modeling. Nadine also honed her cooking skills, perfecting a healthy banana bread recipe that includes oats, bananas, vanilla extract, coconut sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and wild blueberries.

Creativity in modeling didn’t stop during isolation. Nadine experimented with self-directed photoshoots, using a ring light to explore new concepts—highlighting how models and model agencies alike have adapted to maintain visibility and artistic expression in challenging times.

When asked about future travel, Italy tops her list, drawn by the culture, food, and people. She also reflects on how the world may never fully return to its previous ways, predicting a new normal with heightened awareness of personal space and interactions.

Outside modeling, Nadine finds inspiration in books like The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, How to Win Friends and Influence People, and Zero to One. Her top films include When Harry Met Sally, The Gentlemen, and The Lord of the Rings, illustrating her diverse tastes and sources of creativity that inform both her personal life and professional work as a model.

For aspiring models, Nadine’s experience demonstrates that building a career involves not only partnering with reputable model agencies but also embracing creativity, personal growth, and resilience—essential traits for any model navigating today’s evolving modeling industry.
