Maria Port is a model who grew up in Parnu, Estonia. From a chance encounter, she was discovered when she happened to go into a modeling agency with her friend. After she was signed, she promptly completed advertising campaigns and editorials. In 2018, she starred in international ad campaigns for L'Oreal Professionel and the Boucheron perfume. Maria Port also worked in editorials for Marie Claire Australia in spring 2013. D magazine chose her as an editorial star in 2015, with Glamour Italy following in November 2015. More recently, she completed photoshoots for Femina Italy 2017 and Grazia Fashion 2017.

To stay fit, Maria Port loves to play tennis. Besides staying physically fit, she emphasizes the importance of keeping the mind sharp and meditative: she does this by taking long walks and reading whenever she gets the chance. Maria Port’s favorite designer is Valentino and her model idols are Kate Moss as well as Natalia Vodianova.
