Nathalie Fransen is a model from Antwerp in Belgium. She thinks fondly of her hometown, as it is brimming with fashion, nature and hip cafes. In a shopping center, she was scouted at age 18, but had her reservations about being a model until she finished her studies in Applied Economics at the University of Antwerp. Since then, she has done some major campaigns, especially for Garnier in Paris, as it was an international campaign. Seeing herself on products in Hawaii on a recent vacation made her realize the global impact of her life as a model.
Besides being the girl in the photos, Nathalie Fransen is also her own manager and enjoys this part of her modeling work. When she isn't working, she loves cooking, making many vegetarian dishes and stews, inspired by traveling to such culinary destinations as Japan and France. The variety of modeling is the spice that keeps her interested. No two photoshoots, places or even days are the same when you are a model, which she relishes, in addition to the freedom of travel and flexibility.
Her husband and family are supportive of her impressive career. She was recently in Basel for a Metro Models job and was impressed by Switzerland's beauty. Doutzen Kroes is her modeling hero, while she also admires Leonardo Dicaprio's tenacity to use his fame to work on environmental issues. Beyond her passion for modeling, Nathalie Fransen wants to continue spreading a message of environmental sustainability, especially through vegetarian and vegan lifestyles for generations to come.
