Karmen Pedaru is a super model, orginally from Kehra, Estonia born on 10th May 1990. For a long time, she worked with Michael Kors and made a name for herself. She was scouted at Draamateater Theater in Tallinn in 2005. Since then, she has been working with the top fashion brands and agencies.
At the age of 5, her mother died and she was raised by her grandmother. Karmen was born into an athletic family, so she developed an interest in sports at a very young age. She was 6 years old when she started playing different sports like association football, basketball, and handball.
Before modeling, Karmen was one of the best goalkeepers of soccer. The model was so good at it that she even played on the national team. In addition, she also likes playing tennis. She is not like a typical model; she loves pizza, sweets, and pasta.
Her debut was in 2007; she walked for Christopher Kane. In 2008, she got her big break when she walked in Fall shows during New York Fashion Week. She was 15 years old when she started her modeling career. Over the years, she has worked with leading names in the fashion industry like Burberry, Roberto Cavalli, Chanel, Gucci, Dior, Givenchy, Alexander Wang, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Lanvin, and others.

In 2011, Karmen walked in Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. In the same year, she replaced the model “Carmen Kass” as the new face of Michael Kors. Her look was termed as sexy chic and sporty. In 2012, she did a campaign for Belstaff along with Ewan McGregor. In 2012, Karmen married Riccardo Ruini and got divorced in 2017.
It was in March 2014, when she was ranked at number 4 in the list of Top 50 models. Currently, she is ranked as Money Girl and Industry Icon. Taking a break for a little while, she returned to the modeling world by walking for Anthony Vaccarello and Saint Laurent for the S/S 2017 Collection.
Her recent work includes an editorial for Elle France in January; she worked with the photographer Mario Sierra. Additionally, she walked Fall/Winter 2019 show for many brands including Roberto Cavalli, The Row, Mary Katrantzou, Balmain, Hermes, Redemption, and Agnona. In April of the same year, she did an editorial for the magazine Porter. For this editorial, she worked with Alexander Nataf. Later this year, she appeared in another editorial for Elle US and was photographed by Zoey Grossman.
