von METRO Model Agentur Zürich

Zürich, Schweiz, May 2017

When did you start modeling and how?

I started to replace a model that was sick, last minute in emergency in Paris, I never did that before. I was 28.

What are your hobbies?

Everything creative especially with my hands and photography but also interior & clothing design, knitting, Ceramic, traveling, reading, writing, hiking, swimming.

So what was the first thing you learned as a model?

To don’t be shy anymore, and to have a better posture.

Do you find it easy to keep a work-life balance?

Yes. I am very adaptable and always found solutions to get my balance. I practice Yoga since more than 30 years I can practice anywhere and this is a precious tool.

Have you got used to the fact that you don’t really know what you’re going to be doing in the next three days?

Yes, I deal with this since more than 30 years and I must say that it has a kind of exciting side of not knowing. On a simple call or email everything can change in minutes and I can be sent at the other side of the world! I love the unknown.

Who have been your icons?

An English woman, writer, that I was seeing far away from my home by the beach in Corsica, she was for me the summum of elegance with her long ample skirt, white shirt, thin belted waist, a straw hat above a silk scarf and sunglasses. I never knew her name but her vision is imprinted in me for life and I must say that my way to stand is inspired by her.

What’s your favorite / most memorable direction a photographer has ever given to you?

I once had a shooting in a snowstorm South Australia on a snowmobile, that was epic!

What advice would you pass along to those starting out in the modeling business?

Embrace who you are and cultivate your uniqueness because you are a miracle and nobody is like you.
