Krystyna Pyszkova is a fashion model, originally from the Czech Republic. Born in 1999, she was scouted at a concert in Vienna and was spotted while waiting in front of the concert venue. Her dad was not enthusiastic by that offer to start career as a model but at the end, a week later, they went to Bratislava and surprisingly immediately signed a contract, and Krystyna Pyszkova has been happy with it ever since. She will be based in London very soon.
- What are your hobbies & interests?
I have quite many hobbies and interests. I love sport and movement in common, especially swimming, fitness, skating, ball games etc…When I have a free time I spend it with animals - activities such as horse riding or agility with my dog. I also play violin and flute, I used to play in an orchestra in my town. My another passion is drawing and creative works.
- Are you studying besides modeling? If so, what subject?
I just successfully finished my high school education in the Czech Republic. Right now I am confirmed to study law at university in London or Olomouc.
- What are the main brands and editorials you’ve worked with?
My favorite editorials were made here in the Czech Republic - for example editorial for the first Czechoslovakia Vogue. I also enjoyed shooting TVCs for the LUX shampoo and cosmetics in Asia in 2018. I took apart in Milan Fashion week 2017 and Paris Fashion week 2018 and did some another Fashion weeks such as Dubai FW, Istanbul FW, Vienna FW and more.
- What interests you most about modeling?
I am really grateful of opportunity to travel. Without modeling I would never be able to see places from all around the world. I love visiting new places, meeting amazing people and doing exciting things. It's also a lot of fun when you randomly notice photos you did some time ago in a printed ad or on TV. Modeling also gave me life experiences and learned me how to take care about myself.
- Are your family and friends supportive of your modeling?
My family and my closest friends are luckily very supportive in what I am doing and they are always here to give me a helping hand. As I said at the beginning my parents were a bit sceptic about modeling at first but right now they are happy that I can do what I like and be more independent.
- Who are your idols/heroes - in the fashion world or elsewhere?
I admire all the Victoria Secret’s models for being always good-looking, positive and hardworking. Their pictures always motivate me to workout haha. Coco Chanel is also my idol because she made one of today's biggest brands for high fashion and she also revolutionized women's clothing. And my hero from elsewhere is Milada Horakova, who was czech politician and human rights campaigner. She battled against all odds to defend her beliefs in Czechoslovakia under Communistic rule. Brave and really strong woman.
- What are your goals in life?
Just simply finish my studies, doing things which I like and to be happy. :-)
